1 min read

The Fayette Civic Forum has announced that it will sponsor a candidates’ forum on Thursday, April 27, for those who are seeking election to the state House of Representatives in the 51st and 52nd legislative districts. The forum on the 52nd District will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the 51st District at 8 p.m., at the State Theatre Center for the Arts, 37 E. Main St., Uniontown. The event is open to the public.

The format will be a moderated session of questions and answers lasting no longer than two hours for each district. Questions will be determined in advance by the forum’s panel and will not be released prior to the event.

The Fayette Civic Forum is designed to provide voters an opportunity to hear and see the candidates in a live exchange of information and comments on a wide range of issues. The forum also intends to provide the candidates with a chance to discuss their positions on important issues.
