Hugh Evans Ralston, Jr.
Hugh Evans Ralston, Jr., 62, of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born March 3, 1944, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Dr. Hugh Evans Ralston Sr. and Margaret Coyne Ralston.
He was a retired credit manager at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company, a member of the National Management Association, and board of director’s member of the Credit Union at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, Saint Clairsville, and a Second Lt. in the United States Army Reserves.
In addition to his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Bernard J. and Dorothy V. Mulroy, precede him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Veronica C. Mulroy Ralston; four children: Amy C. Lewis and her husband, David L. of Saint Clairsville, Beth A. Miller and her husband, Mark R. of Powell, Ohio, Megan L. Ralston of Dayton, Ohio, Hugh E. Ralston III and his fianc? Elizabeth Kraska of New Albany, Ohio; three sisters: Dori Johnson, Mary Slavonia and her husband, Robert, Ann Fox and her husband, Dick; four grandchildren: Hayden D. and Emma C. Lewis, Owen M. and Evan L. Miller.
Friends will be received in the ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME, 14 EOFF STREET, WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA, (304-232-0330), on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. where Vigil Services will be held at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2006, in Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, Saint Clairsville, with the Rev. H. Christopher Foxhoven as Celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia.
