OLDIES DANCE to benefit the Autism Society will be held Saturday at the West Brownsville Fire Department Social Hall. A buffet will be served from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Dancing is from 8 p.m. to midnight. D.J. Jeff Allen from 104 Rocke Shoppe will provide music. Tickets are $10 and on sale now or at the door. For more information, call 724-785-3293. KEEP PENNSYLVANIA BEAUTIFUL DAY will be held April 29. Neighbors and friends of Jumonville will hold their annual litter cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon. JEFFERSON-MORGAN SCHOOL DISTRICT on Thursday will hold a dedication ceremony for the newly renovated high school gymnasium followed by the annual sports night. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students.
NEARLY NEW SHOP, located in the basement of the Hopwood United Methodist Church, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Books, clothes, jewelry, household items and miscellaneous items will be for sale at bargain prices.
ALBRIGHT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, South Connellsville, will hold a trash and treasure sale on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. A bake sale will also be held. Household, general, collectibles will be sold. Proceeds benefit the church building fund.
GALLATIN AVENUE CONCERNED CITIZENS will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion hall.
ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE SUPPORT GROUP for family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Center in the Woods, California. New members are welcome to attend.
PENNDOT RETIREES will hold a luncheon Thursday at 11 a.m. at Denny’s Restaurant. For more information, call 724-785-9606. Luncheons are held every third Thursday of the month.
HOPWOOD VILLAGE PROJECT members will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the South Union Township Administration Building. Wagon Train Day events will be reviewed and the 2006 king and queen of Hopwood will be selected.
