Irene Fike, age 61, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006, in her home. She was born November 8, 1944, in Markleysburg, Pa., daughter of Thelma L. Varndell Fike of Markleysburg and the late Orville P. Fike.

Irene had been employed with Fayette Bank, later First National of Pennsylvania, with over 20 years of service.

She had been a member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a son, Christopher S. Fike.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three children: Cherie S. Clifford and her husband, Bob, of Uniontown, Pa., Richard W. Fike Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Farmington, Pa., and Mark A. Fike and his wife, Jennifer, of Farmington; seven grandchildren: John R. Clifford III, Dylan P. Clifford, Melissa N. Clifford, Eric W. Frey, Sarah D. Fike, Melanie A. Fike and Mark A. Fike Jr.; two sisters and one brother: Elsie L. Show and her husband, Ron, of Uniontown, Melvin P. Fike and his wife, Twila, of Markleysburg and Madeline R. Hess and her husband, Walt, of Markleysburg, Pa.

Friends were received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held today (Monday, April 17) at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dale Rexrode officiating.

Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg, Pennsylvania.
