Marling W. (Willy) Yowler, age 82, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born August 18, 1923, the son of Harry E. Yowler and Rozella Mitts Yowler.

Mr. Yowler was a veteran of World War II having served Honorably in the United States Army throughout the European Theater of Operations.

He was employed for over 35 years at the R. Bruce Fike and Sons Dairy and was an avid model car collector.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years Arlene Bucheit Yowler; two sons, Marling K. Yowler of Uniontown, Pa. and Bruce W. Yowler and his wife Debra of Hopwood, Pa.; four grandchildren: Kathy Mankin and her husband Donald of Uniontown, Pa., Marling (Butchie) Yowler and his fianc?e’ Tiffany of Columbus, South Carolina, Laurie Papetta and her husband J.C. of Cumber land, Maryland and Angela Yowler of Orlando, Florida; two great-grandchildren: Noah and Hannah Mankin; a special cousin Ken Hugh of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Jerome W. Shell Funeral Home, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Dale A. Redick officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Military Honors will be accorded graveside by AMVETS General Marshall Post 103, Hopwood, Pa.
