Helen DePaolis
Helen DePaolis, 85, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1920 in Fairchance, Pa., a daughter of Paul and Mary (Zurek) Blatnick.
Her parents, beloved husband, Louis DePaolis, brothers, Paul, Francis, Steven, Michael, John, and Constantine “Connie” Blatnick; and sisters, Mary Elleard, Anne Adamovich, and Rose Vesnesky, preceded her in death.
Helen was a member of Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church and was a graduate of Georges Township High School. She was a loving wife and mother who dedicated herself to her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children whom she loved with all her heart, Donald L. DePaolis and wife, Kathleen Connor of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rita L. Dorobish and husband, Michael of Uniontown, Pa. and David A. DePaolis of Uniontown, Pa.; three grandchildren: Anthony, Julian, and Rafacl DePaolis, all of Pittsburgh, Pa. and her dear brother, Patrick Blatnick of Sacramento, Calf. and many special nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEVEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, April 22, 2006, until 11 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., in Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa., with Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini as celebrant Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
