Audrey Marie Lynn Rathway

Audrey Marie (Lynn) Rathway, 81, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Friday, April 21, 2006, in her home with her loving family at her side after a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Brownstown, Pa., on March 8, 1925, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Elizabeth (Murray) Lynn.

A homemaker, Mrs. Rathway served in the United States Coast Guard as a Spar.

She is survived by four daughters: Carol A. Miller and husband, Greg of Belle Vernon, Cindy S. Baluch and husband, John of Dublin, Ohio, Pauline Keefer and husband, Tim of Perryopolis and Linda R. Ciez and husband, Gus of Belle Vernon; a son, Lawrence P. Rathway and wife, Sally of Perryopolis; 15 grandchildren: Christina and Jennifer Miller, Justin, Janna and Joshua Baluch, Lauren, Zach and Nick Keefer, Danielle and Christopher Ciez, Ashley, Lorie, Julie, Paul and Luke Rathway; and her best friend, Marguerite Hough of Perryopolis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rathway in 1981, a daughter, Bonnie Lee and her brother, Clifford Lynn.

Friends will be received in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME, INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township/Belle Vernon, Pa., on Sunday from 12 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 9:15 a.m.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. John Euker officiating.

Interment with Military Honors will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
