William J. Menear, age 70, of Waynesburg, Pa., retired maintenance employee from Bortz Chevrolet Company in Waynesburg who was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg. He is survived by a brother, James E. Menear and his wife, Matilda, of Dilliner, Pa.; sister, Violet B. Menear of Waynesburg, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Paul Michael Lesako Funeral Home Inc., Paul M. Lesako, Supervisor/Funeral Director, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
