The Uniontown Rotary Club honored Seth McElroy of Uniontown, a senior at Laurel Highlands High School, as student of the month for January. The son of Pamela and Vic Rossini and David and Cindy McElroy, he plans to attend George Washington University and major in international relations and work for the State Department.
He is active in the Academic Quiz Team as captain, the Envirothon Quiz Team as co-captain, the Math Competition Team , yearbook staff and the morning announcement crew.
He attends the Uniontown Church of the Brethren and is president of the youth group, co-chairman of the banking, credit and financial planning course and a junior counselor with Summer’s Best Two Weeks.
He is employed by Adrian’s Market in Hopwood and has played the violin for seven years.
