North Union Twp. Man injured in fall
An unidentified man was reportedly injured Friday afternoon when he reportedly fell 20-feet from a ladder at an Areford Boulevard residence in North Union Township, according to emergency officials.
Uniontown Fireman’s Ambulance Corps responded to the scene.
The man was transported by emergency helicopter to a Pittsburgh Hospital.
No further information was available at presstime.

Man struck
State police said charges will be filed against a Republic man after he struck Jason Clark, 26, of Menallen Township during an altercation at a New Salem business at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Mailbox damaged
Margaret Tobay of Dunbar Township told state police that her mailbox at 3770 W. Crawford Ave. was damaged between 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

State police said the window of a vehicle owned by John Kurutz of Dunbar Township was broken while the car was parked on Connellsville Street between 1 and 7 a.m. Sunday.

Driver charged
State police said Emmanuel Jordan of Hibbs was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy Abraham with fleeing the scene of an accident after he allegedly fled the scene of an accident on Route 166 at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday.

Amy Costabile of Uniontown told state police that a rock was thrown through the window of her back door, breaking the glass at 9:30 p.m. April 18, police said.

State police said a Bentleyville man stole $30 worth of gasoline from the Exxon station on Route 51 at 7:26 a.m. Wednesday.

Window broken
Pamela Cuppett of Smithfield told state police that a window at her home at 5 Rose Court was damaged by a rock at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Vehicle damaged
State police said the rear door of a sport utility vehicle owned by Patricia Mays of Uniontown was dented while the SUV was parked on Mark Drive at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday.

Uni-Mart robbed
State police are investigating an incident Thursday when a man entered the Uni-Mart convenience store in Avella and took several small food items, produced a handgun and demanded money before fleeing the store.
The man is described as a white male between the age of 25 and 35 years-old, about 5 foot 10 inches with a thin build and light complexion, short light-colored hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
Police said he was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap with the Nike “swoosh” emblem or similar, a nylon flight jacket, dark pants and light shoes.
An image of the man was caught on the store’s videotape.

Marshall Pence of Connellsville told state police that his red and white 2002 Honda XR200 all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a residence on Camp Wildwood Road between 11 p.m. April 21 and 8 a.m. Sunday.

Woman charged
Southwest Regional police said Michelle Rachel Tabor of Fayette City was charged with false identification to law enforcement after she allegedly lied to officers during a routine traffic stop in Belle Vernon. Police discovered Tabor was wanted on a bench warrant out of Allegheny County and was placed in the Fayette County Prison on Monday, police said.
