Ray M. Luckey, Sr.,
Ray M. Luckey, Sr., 71, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at his residence. He was born December 11, 1934 in Lemont Furnace, Pa.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clyde Alvin Luckey and Mary Ellen Scott Luckey, three brothers, William, Clyde and Bryan Luckey and four sisters, Gertrude Spears, Beatrice Stickle, Grace Fecek and Della Savage.
Mr. Luckey was a former truck driver for the G.J. Trusio Trucking company.
Surviving are six children: Ray M. Luckey, Jr., Kelley J. Snyder, Dale A. Luckey and John R. Luckey and his wife, Melanie, all of Uniontown, Pamela S. VanBremen and her husband, David of Farmington, Pa. and Mary Ellen Luckey of Collier, Pa.; 12 grandchildren: Michael, Jeannie, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Rebecca, Jessica, Angela, Michael, Brandon, Emma, Nicholas and Angel; a great-grandchild, Kayleigh; two sisters: Thelma Turner of Hopwood, Pa. and Minnie Jane (Janie) Russell of Coolspring, Pa. and a special niece and nephew Susan and David Luckey of Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today, April 29, 2006, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. R.E. Cowsert officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
