John Andrew Jellots
John Andrew Jellots, age 32, of Jefferson, Pa., loving and devoted husband and father, died Friday, April 28, 2006, in Morgantown, West Virginia, as the result of a tragic accident while at work. He was born November 19, 1973, in Waynesburg, Pa., the son of Andrew Jellots Jr. and Cathy Bochnak Jellots of Rices Landing, Pa.
In July of 1997, he met the love of his life, Emily Marie Buchtan. They were married on April 29, 2000, and became eternally joined as Mr. and Mrs. John Jellots. The happily married pair would have celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary only one short day of his passing.
John was a compassionate and committed son, grandson, family member, friend and, most importantly, husband and father. His life was abruptly ended and now his wife and sons are left with many years to keep his memory alive. For all who have had the opportunity to know him, it will be impossible to forget him.
John graduated in 1991 from Jefferson-Morgan High School and was employed with Brownsville Local No. 286 Laborers Union and was currently working with MI Friday as a brick laborer.
He enjoyed music, guitars, golfing, motorcycles, classic cars, his aquarium and his dog, Mika, and loved being surrounded by his family and friends.
Despite his many interests and hobbies in life, John would have given every second of the day to spend with his wife and beautiful little boys. He was a great, hard working and loving man. No words can explain how greatly he will be missed!
Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are two sons: Sebastian John Jellots and Jaggar Emil Jellots, both at home who love, adore and will forever admire their “Poppa”; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Bochnak of Rices Landing, Pa.; his paternal grandfather, Andrew Jellots Sr. of Jefferson, Pa.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emil and Diane Buchtan of Rices Landing, Pa.; sister-in-law, Nanette Buchtan Evosevich and her husband, Michael, of Carmichaels, Pa.; brother-in-law, Andrew Buchtan and his wife, Jennifer, of Greensboro, Pa.; brother-in-law, Albert Buchtan and his wife, Vanessa, of Carmichaels, Pa.; sister-in-law, Rebecca Buchtan of Waynesburg, Pa.; sister-in-law, Jennifer Basiorka and her husband, Dennis, of Lorain, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Sarah Buchtan of Rices Landing, Pa. John was adored by his nephews and nieces: Ian, Zachery, Hannah, Victoria, Haleigh, Andrew, Rachael and Benjamin.
