CURFEW GRANGE will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday. Officers will be elected. OHIOPYLE STEWART COMMUNITY CENTER is offering the Summer Food Program which provides free meals to all children 18 years and younger. For information or to sign up for the program, call 724-329-1444.
NEARLY NEW SHOP, located in the basement of the Hopwood United Methodist Church, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Jeans, books, clothing, jewelry, household items will be for sale.
ST. JOSEPH PARISH, Everson, will hold its 32nd annual summer festival Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the parish grounds. Hours are 6 to 11 p.m., Friday; 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Dinner will be served each day in the parish hall; spaghetti, Friday; Polish platter, Saturday; and turkey, Sunday. Entertainment will be a battle of the bands featuring 5th District Rock, Gang Green and Girls in Black Hats. Saturday will be a Mass at 5 p.m. featuring the combined Polish choirs of St. Joseph and the bell choir. Andy Fenus and the Trel-Tones Polka Band will provide music on Saturday. Contests, races, dance groups and Fay West DJ along with festival foods and games for all ages will be featured.
