Dolores M. (Did) Zivkovich
Dolores M. (Did) Zivkovich, 75, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and formerly of Penn Craft, Pa., passed away on Monday, August 7, 2006, in Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Mrs. Zivkovich was born on April 17, 1931, in Herbert, Pa., she graduated from California High School in 1949. She married Peter Zivkovich on August 6, 1955. Mrs. Zivkovich resided in Penn Craft, Pa., until her recent move to Fredericksburg in January of 2006.
Mrs. Zivkovich was a member of Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church in Masontown, Pa., where she served as treasurer for the past several years. She was a former sales associate for the Bon-Ton Department Store in Uniontown, Pa., and a volunteer for the Brownsville General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Zivkovich is survived by her son, Michael (Mickey) Zivkovich and daughter-in-law, Tracy of Brownsville, Pa.; daughter, Sue Clark and son-in-law, Michael of Fredericksburg, Va.; daughter, Diane Roll and son-in-law, Stephen of Harrisonburg, Va.; eight grandchildren: Christopher, Craig, and Carey Zivkovich, Patrick, Mitchell, and Nicholas Clark, Alexandra and Jarrod Roll; sister, Martha Liggett of Gainesville, Fla.; brother, John Andrus of Durham, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Hustava Andrus; husband, Peter Zivkovich; infant son, Nicholas; and brother, Donald Andrus.
Family and friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 PARK STREET, BROWNSVILLE, Pa., today, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., and on Monday, August 14, 2006, from 9 until 10 a.m., at which time there will be a procession from the Skirpan Funeral Home to the Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church, Masontown, Pa., for an 11 a.m., funeral service with the Rev. Father Rodney Torbic as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church Cemetery.
A Pomen Service (Placing of the Cross) will be conducted in the funeral home today at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. Father Rodney Torbic presiding.
