Hudock-Konter
Michelle Konter of Browns-ville and Joel Hudock of Connellsville were united in marriage on May 27. The Rev. John Sedlak, Monsignor Edward McCullough and the Rev. Pete Peretti, con-celebrated the nuptial Mass at St. Cecelia Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Christine Konter of Park Street, Brownsville. The bridegroom is the son of Janice Dunaway of University Drive, Lemont Furnace, and the late Jack Hudock.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white gown with Basque waistline studded with seed pearls, buttons down the back and a full-illusion skirt with matching cathedral train. A tiara held a waist-length veil edged with matching beads.
Angie DeSimone, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Konter, sister of the bride; Jessica Joseph, Jessica Show and Kathy Hudock, sister of the bridegroom.
Rob Hudock, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Todd Hudock, Jack Hudock, brothers of the bridegroom and Tyler Hudock, nephew of the bridegroom; and Todd Shmigalsky.
A reception was held at the Uniontown Firemen’s Social Hall. They honeymooned at the Outer Banks, N.C.
The bride graduated from Uniontown Area High School and West Virginia University. She is a band, chorus, and steel drums music teacher at Uniontown Area High School.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Connellsville Area High School and St. Vincent College. He is a band and chorus music teacher at Uniontown Area High School.
The newlyweds are residing in Connellsville.
