Sheila A. “Bonnie” Costello Martin
Sheila A. “Bonnie” Costello Martin, age 76, of Stewartstown Road, Point Marion, Pa., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, August 13, 2006, from her residence. Born February 23, 1930, in Preston County, near Kingwood, West Virginia, she was a daughter of Shelar Costello and Mabel Molisee Costello.
A homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning and taking care of the family farm, Sheila’s greatest joy in life was raising her family.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Bill Costello, who died in a mining accident.
She is survived by her husband, Carrol A. Martin; and four children: Randy Martin and his wife, Donna, of Stewartstown, West Virginia, Connie K. Bays-Martin of Point Marion, Dana Martin and his wife, Diana, and Lisa Jordan and her husband, David, all of Dilliner, Pa. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and ten brothers and sisters.
Friend will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa., on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 16, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Kenneth Haines officiating.
Interment follows in Forks-of-Cheat Baptist Cemetery, Stewartstown, West Virginia.
