North Union Twp. Man charged

Sean Russell Clark of Uniontown was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of children after he instigated a physical confrontation with Shawn Wahl of Lemont Furnace following a traffic incident on Oliver Road at 10:55 p.m. July 21, state police said.

Men charged

Thomas Robert Duckworth and John Franklin Wolfe, both of North Union Township, were charged with disorderly conduct after they engaged in a fight at 342 Second St., West Leisenring, at 6 p.m. Monday, state police said.

State police said Charles Edward Thomas III, 44, of Uniontown was cited for violating a protection-from-abuse order after he contacted Dorothy Isler of Uniontown at her home on Surrey Hill Drive at 9:57 p.m. Thursday.

State police said about 500 pounds of scrap electrical wire owned by Roberta Hunter, no address given, was stolen from a location on Upper Middletown Road between July 23 and Saturday.

Man charged

State police said William C. Ohler, 37, of Connellsville was charged with violating a protection-from-abuse order after he contacted Kerry Moore, also of Connellsville, at her 144 Pole Cat Hollow Road home at 8:15 p.m. Friday.

Credit cards stolen

Bethany Orr of Uniontown and Alison Crowson of Fayette City told state police that credit cards were stolen from their purses while at a North Union Township hotel sometime Friday, police said.

State police said $58 worth of gasoline was stolen from the J&G Exxon in North Union Township sometime Saturday.

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Gloria Coger of Uniontown and August Sprusansky of McClellandtown collided at the intersection of Route 21 and Puritan Road at 3:31 p.m. Saturday. Coger was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment following the crash, police said.

Car damaged

Millys Altman of Uniontown told state police that vandals damaged her car while it was parked outside a Derrick Avenue residence between 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, police said.

State police said a bicycle owned by Sandra Swope of Uniontown was stolen from the sidewalk in front of a Bierer Wood Acres apartment around 11:20 a.m. Sunday.

State police said vandals damaged a door at the Brentwood Sportsman’s Club in German Township between 8 a.m. Aug. 5 and 3:44 p.m. Sunday.

Deborah Frey of Uniontown told state police that vandals damaged a satellite dish at her home at 25 Tuskegee Terrace between midnight and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Staci Hiles, 28, of Uniontown, was charged with harassment after she made repeated phone calls to Jeffery Fedeli of Coal Center at 6 p.m. Monday, state police said.
