Viola M. Morris
Viola M. Morris, 99, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, in the Beverly Health Care Center. She was born May 4, 1907, in Ronco, Pa., the daughter of Filex Gearing and Blanche Hyatt Gearing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold E. Morris, a son, Harold W. Morris, her sisters, Dorothy Schott, Florence Oldland, Irene Keyser and Mildred Rosenbaum; and her brother, Wilbert Gearing.
Viola was a homemaker and a member of the Uniontown Church of the Brethren and the Gleaners’ Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her daughters Norma Zemencik of Uniontown, Pa. and Loretta Coffman-Aultman of Florida; grandson, Jeffery Coffman and his wife Renee of Virginia; and granddaughter, Jane Turrill and her husband the Rev. Robert Turrill of Washington, Pa.; and two great-granddaughters, Jennifer McGuire and her husband Mark and Jessica Juliano and her husband Michael.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where the family will receive friends in the funeral home today, August 16, form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17, from 10 until 11a.m. followed by a celebration of her life at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harrison Smith officiating, the Rev. Robert Turrill will assist with the service.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
