Ethel W. Buttermore
Ethel W. Buttermore, 87, of Grindstone, Pa., passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2006. She was born April 24, 1919, in Mount Pleasant, Pa., the daughter of the late Roy and Gertrude Breckbill Albright.
Ethel is survived by two sons: Robert W. Buttermore, III and friend, Sandra of Grindstone, Pa., and Dale F. Buttermore and wife, Barbara of Humbel, Texas. Ethel had three grandchildren: Robert Buttermore and wife, Joni, Tina Newman and husband, Paul and Moriah Buttermore; two step grandchildren: Melissa and Aaron Perry; she also had three great-grandchildren: Jacob and Jenna Buttermore and Nicholas Newman and two step great-grandchildren: Skye and Cameron Perry, Ethel had two sisters: Jean Fissel and husband, John of King of Prussia, and Catherine Hamer of Grindstone, she also had numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Buttermore, Jr., and sister, Lois Burns.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, August 19, 2006, until 9 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Interment will be in Mount Washington Cemetery.
