Henry W. “Bud” Ramsier
Henry W. “Bud” Ramsier, 88 of Dawson, Pa., died Wednesday, August 16, 2006, in the Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. He was born in Dickerson Run, Pa., the son of the late Henry and Edna L. McCormack Ramsier. He was a member of the Dawson Methodist Church where he served as custodian, and was a retired plastering contractor. He was a Veteran of World War II. His favorite pastime was reading, gardening and being with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia to whom he was married for 68 years. Surviving children are: Carl Ramsier and his wife, Mary of Mason, Ohio, Carol Hesson of Owensdale, Pa., Linda Beran and husband, Robert of Scottdale, Pa., Judy Timms and husband, Donald of Vanderbilt, Pa., William Ramsier and wife, Gerri of Belle Vernon, Pa., Nina Dancho and husband, David of Greensburg, Pa.; a nephew, Carlton Stimmel and wife, Janet of West Chester, Ohio; grandchildren: Sylvia Ramsier, Scott Ramsier and wife, Christine, Lisa Hudec and husband, Robert, Susan McCracken and husband, Richard, Karen Seighman and husband Dean, Richard Beran and wife, Candis, Jennifer Puskar and husband, Jerry, Joseph Timms and wife, Jamie, Dylan Ramsier, Adam Dancho, Bobb Jo and Aaron Dancho; seven great-grandchildren: Heather Ramsier, Christopher Ramsier, Nicole McCracken, Mark McCracken, Marissa Seighman, Cheyenne Beran, Ramon Beran.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Ada Baird, and brother, Edward Ramsier.
Friends will be received in the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, Dawson, Pa., on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday until 1 p.m., the hour of the service with Rev. David A. Bell Sr. officiating.
