Mary K. Pearl Speelman
Mary K. Pearl Speelman, 82, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., formerly of Connellsville, Pa., died Thursday, August 17, 2006, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. She was born December 14, 1923, in Connellsville a daughter of the late William W. and Anna Cecilia Quinn Pearl.
Mary was a graduate of Connellsville High School and she was formerly employed at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville.
Mary will be sadly missed by her family and the residents of the Ridgeview Apartments. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, as hobbies and she loved sports of all kinds.
She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Wilson and her husband, Wayne of South Connellsville; three grandchildren: Carissa Sutter and her husband, Roger, William Martin and Wesley Wilson; one step grandson, Wayne Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Patty; four great-grandchildren: Dylan, Rhiannon, Kaylor and Tucker; and one stepgreat-grandson, Wayne III; and one sister, Delores Brown of Bullskin Township.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two brothers, William T. and James H. Pearl; and two sisters, Frances Cunningham and Laverne Mitrisin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, Pa., with Rev. Terry Hercik as celebrant.
