Kolek-Rosiek
Jennifer Rosiek of New Salem and Jason Kolek of Republic were united in marriage. The Rev. Stephen Bugay officiated the nuptial Mass on June 10 at the Madonna of Czestochowa Church, Cardale.
The bride is the daughter and step-daughter of Jacqueline and Edward Bellan of New Salem and daughter of Bernard Rosiek Jr. of Hopwood. The bridegroom is the son of Anthony and Cheryl Kolek of Republic.
Escorted to the altar by her father, Bernard Rosiek Jr., the bride wore a strapless tulle ballgown adorned with metallic lace appliqu?s and heavily beaded with sequins and crystals, full skirt with sweep train. A tiara adorned with sequins, crystals and rhinestone, held a floor-length veil.
Tina Remington, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Rachel Rosiek, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessann Kovach, Julia Swetz, Maureen Nagg, Angela Stiner, Brittany Shumar, cousin of the bride, Melissa Davis, sister of the bridegroom; Nicole Sijtsma, step-sister of the bride; Madison Sisk-Kolek, cousin of the bridegroom, and Gracie Bellan, step-niece of the bride, were flower girls.
Kevin Hudock was best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Remington, cousin of the bride; Andrew Kolek, cousin of the bridegroom; Anthony Stock, Shaun Valente, Chris Sloan, James Dounias, cousin of the bride; Jeffrey Davis Sr., brother-in-law of the bridegroom; and Chris Sijtsma, step-brother-in-law of the bride. Junior ushers were Nicholas Keeney, cousin of the bridegroom; and Sean Sijtsma and John Sijtsma, step-nephews of the bride. Jeffrey David Jr., nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Jewish Community Center in Uniontown.
The bride graduated in 1999 from Brownsville Area High School and is a 2003 graduate of Penn State University. She is employed with Trinity Mining Services, Brier Hill.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and a 2003 graduate of I.T.T. Technical Institute.
He is employed with Consol Energy, Enlow Fork Mine in West Finley.
