Manila M. Prosser
Manila M. Prosser, 107, of Brownsville, Pa., died Saturday, August 19, 2006, in Mon Valley Care Center, Monongahela, Pa. She was born on October 23, 1898, in Belle Vernon, Pa., a daughter of the late Sylvester and Charlotte Blystone Kuhn.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Brownsville, and the Christian Women Fellowship.
Her husband, William J. Prosser, Sr. and a daughter, Odella Duvall, predeceased her.
Surviving are three children: Mildred Teasdale of West Brownsville, Pa., Betty Gene Bernhagen of Brownsville and William J. Prosser, Jr. and wife, Mary Lou of New Eagle, Pa; a son-in-law, John Duvall of West Newton, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a very close niece, Dolores Kormos.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 with the Rev. Paul Sandusky officiating.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
