Mildred V. Collier
Mildred V. Collier, 94, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, August 17, 2006, in the Masonic Home at Swickley. She was born March 22, 1912, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Frank G. Sessler and Isa Kyle Sessler.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John D. “Jack” Collier, a son, Robert L. Collier, a brother, Paul Sessler and a sister, Margaret Miller.
She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Laura and her husband, Stuart Brinkley of Moon Township, Pa., Todd and his wife, Joyce Collier of West Mifflin, Pa., Dr. Clayton Collier of Washington, D.C. and Brad and his wife, Damaris Collier of Greenville, South Carolina; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. where the family will receive friends in the funeral home, today, August 20, 2006, from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, August 21, 2006, from noon until 1 p.m. followed by a celebration of her life at 1 p.m. with the Rev. William D. Rodahaver officiating.
Interment will be private.
