Skocik-Marshall
Katherine R. Marshall and Michael P. Skocik, both of Bryn Mawr, were united in marriage on May 5. The Rev. Paul Frank II of St. Paul’s Church, Uniontown, officiated the ceremony on the beach at the LaPlaya Resort in Naples, Fla.
A reception followed at the LaPlaya Resort Bayside.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William R. Marshall of Brownfield Road, Uniontown, and the late Deborah R. Marshall.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Skocik of Fulton Avenue, Uniontown.
The bride wore a strapless silk gown with tiered skirt and train. Her headpiece was a fingertip-length veil.
Jessica Marshall was maid of honor for her sister.
Brother of the bridegroom, John Paul Skocik, was best man.
The bride graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and West Virginia University with a degree in advertising. She is an interior designer for Ethan Allen.
The bride is also a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and West Virginia University with a degree in chemical engineering. He is employed with Flowserve Corp. as a senior engineer.
The couple went on a wedding trip to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, Greece.
They are living on Montgomery Avenue, Bryn Mawr.
