Donald F. Dillow Sr.
Donald F. Dillow Sr., 68, of Nemacolin, Pa., passed away August 23, 2006, in Jefferson Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born February, 15, 1938, in Fairchance, Pa., son of the late Charles E. Dillow and Helen Hess Dillow.
On March 21, 1964 he married Barbara Duffy Dillow who survives.
He was a retired coal miner from Nemacolin mine, and a U.M.W.A. member and he enjoyed gardening and nature.
Surviving are his wife, children: Donald Dillow of Carmichaels, Pa., David, Daniel and Denise Dillow all of Nemacolin, Pa.; five grandchildren: David Jr., Ashley, Kaitlin, Danielle Dillow and, Dawn Berg; three great-grandchildren: Jillian Helena Jean Dillow, Sara Louise Conley and, Savana Dillow; sisters: Lonnie Barnhart (H. Charles) of Carmichael, Pa., Mary Hale (H. Richard) of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Karen Ansel of Carmichaels.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Edward Dillow.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 26, 2006, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, August 27, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichael, Pa. 724-766-5100, a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., in the funeral home, with the Rev. Frances Nazimek officiating.
