John S. Peton Sr., 82, of Brownsville, Pa., died, Sunday, August 20, 2006, in the Washington Hospital. Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ernest Ross and the Rev. Michael D. Peton officiating.

Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park where full Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 295, 275, 940 and 838.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Harvest Time Ministries, 213 Sixth Avenue, Brownsville, PA 15417.
