Mary Ann (Kraynak) Anthony
Mary Ann (Kraynak) Anthony, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, in the LaFayette Manor Nursing Home. She was born on October 19, 1916, in Georges Township, Pa., daughter of John and Elizabeth (Gardzar) Kraynak.
Her parents, husband, Steve F. Anthony, brothers John, Joseph, and Steve Kraynak, and sisters, Irene Fenton, Elizabeth Dayner, and Marjorie Kraynak, preceded her in death.
Mary Ann was a member of Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, member of Saint Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and Golden Age Club of Uniontown. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and had been an avid bowler, as a member of the Flower Bowling League and also the Hurricane Bowling League.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Betty Rusko and husband, Albert of Uniontown, Pa., John Anthony and wife, Ann of Wakeman, Ohio, Mary Sanfilippo and husband, Joseph of Brownsville, Pa., and Robert Anthony and wife, Sally of Uniontown, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters: Julia Cenker of New Salem, Pa., and Ann Shotter of Hopwood, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, August 26, 2006, until 9:45 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church at 10:15 a.m., with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
The parish Wake Service will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., in Saint Mary’s Confraternity the Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary on Friday evening at 7 p.m.
