Two injured
Two people were taken to Morgantown, W.Va., hospitals following an accident on Route 166 at Fallen Timber Road Friday morning.
The accident occurred at 9:33 a.m. when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male collided with a vehicle driven by Philip Hausenberger, 54. The 17-year-old driver was taken by ambulance to Mon General Hospital. A passenger in Hausenberger’s car, Rose Stoner, was taken by ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Four injured
Two juvenile passengers were injured in a vehicle accident Friday night on Jim Mountain Road in Springfield Township. The accident occurred at 9:51 p.m. Vehicles driven by Dale Richard King of Rockwood and Marjorie Kay Schroyer of South Connellsville were involved in the crash.
Both drivers and a boy and a girl in Shroyer’s vehicle were taken to Pittsburgh hospitals. According to state police, the children received minor injuries while the drivers received moderate injuries.

Condition remains same
A McClellandtown woman whose vehicle was involved in a collision with a garbage truck last Wednesday on Route 21 remains in critical condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
A spokeswoman for the hospital said Sandra Vrabel was listed in “critical condition” Sunday. She declined further comment.
Vrabel’s husband, Regis Vrabel, told the Herald-Standard Friday that his wife was in an induced coma suffering with a bruised brain and lungs. Vrabel was also said to have sustained a fractured ankle and a shattered right leg.
Firefighters from several stations worked for more than an hour to free Vrabel, who was trapped in her vehicle after she collided with the truck on Route 21 at Puritan Road around 11:30 a.m. Police said the driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.

Gasoline stolen
State police said someone pumped an unknown amount of gasoline into his or vehicle at 6 p.m. Saturday and left the Honey Bear convenience store in Star Junction without paying.

Door damaged
Deanna Louise Doytek of 33 Forbes St. told state police someone damaged a storm door, lockset and window of her residence between 7 p.m. Friday and 11:10 a.m. Saturday.

Theft attempted
State police said a white man approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with a slim build and dark brown hair attempted to steal several movies from Giant Eagle on Pittsburgh Street by stuffing them down his pants at 7:25 p.m. Thursday. The man fled when confronted by store employees, police said.
South Union Twp.
Shrubs stolen
Josef Vanek of Uniontown told state police that someone stole 14 shrubs from his 33 Albert St. property between 8 a.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
In another incident, police reported several shrubs belonging to Nancy Jane Soom, Sharon Mangello and Eric Sutton, all of Francis Street, were stolen between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Woman assaulted
State police said Denise Gaines, 51, of Smithfield was kicked in the face by a known person during an altercation in an alleyway by Bierer Wood Acres at 9:15 p.m. Thursday.
