Verna Pavlick
Verna Pavlick, 74, of Jane Lew, W.Va., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, August 29, 2006, in the United Hospital, Clarksburg, W.Va. She was born October 14, 1931, in Shinnston, W.Va., the daughter of Homer Bunner and Grace Wright Bunner.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bernard R. Pavlick, three brothers and one sister.
She was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church of Fairchance, Pa.
Her son Bernard Daniel Pavlick and wife, Diane of New Kensington, Pa.; and her daughter, Denise Sprouse and her husband, Terry of June Lew, W.Va., are left to cherish her memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where the family will receive friends in the funeral home on Thursday, August 31, 2006, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass celebrating her life at 10 a.m., in Saints Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church of Fairchance with Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fairchance.
The wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
