Stereo stolen

State police said a car stereo was stolen from a car at Pearson Auto Sales on Pittsburgh Road between 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 and 8:45 a.m. Nov. 21.

Simple assault filed

Jason and Brian Clark, no addresses given, were charged with simple assault after an altercation at a home on Morgantown Road at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Man charged

State police said Daniel Lough, 21, of Uniontown was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after a routine traffic stop on Daisy Lane at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 17.

Burglary reported

State police said burglars damaged a glass front door and the cash register at the Point Marion Hardware store located on Penn Street sometime Nov. 18.

Woman pushed

State police said a LaBelle man pushed Rachel Hare of Menallen Township during an argument at a Rays Lane residence at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Rifle stolen

Michael Turcic of McClellandtown told state police that a Mossberg hunting rifle was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on McClellandtown Road at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Pistol stolen

State police said a .22 caliber pistol owned by Cole Radicic of Smithfield was stolen from his home on Second Street in Jarrett’s Trailer Park sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 18.

Window broken

Maureen Wicks of Fairchance told state police that vandals broke a window on her car while it was parked on North Main Street between 4:30 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Woman charged

Mary Jordan, 48, of McClellandtown was charged with theft after she allegedly gave items to customers for free while working as a cashier for It’s A Buck in North Union Township at 8:15 p.m. Nov. 13, state police said.

Vehicle stolen

State police said a gold 2004 Pontiac Grand Am owned by Sandra Marshall of New Salem was stolen from a Hill Street home between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

One-car crash reported

No one was injured when a car driven by David Pocratsky of Uniontown crashed on Route 119 at 10:10 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Man cited

John Noah Noelle, 34, of Greensburg was cited for public drunkenness after he was found under the influence of alcohol at a business on Route 40 at 4:35 p.m. Nov. 17, state police said.

South Union Twp.

Fight investigated

State police said they are investigating a fight between a 64-year-old McClellandtown woman who was struck by a rake wielded by a 60-year-old McClellandtown woman at a McClellandtown Road residence around 4:50 p.m. Monday.

Smithfield

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by a 16-year-old Smithfield juvenile and Amy Barrett, also of Smithfield, collided at the intersection of Main and Liberty streets at 2:56 p.m. Tuesday. Barrett suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment, police said.

One-car crash logged

State police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by David Phillips, no address given, crashed on Englishman Hill Road at 5:55 p.m. Nov. 17.

Women charged

Ruth Churby, 50, of Smithfield and Kathleen Wyland, 26, of New Geneva were charged with harassment after they allegedly struck each other during an argument over rent money at a home on York Run Road at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Man injured

State police said Curtis White of United suffered major injuries when the vehicle he was driving struck a sign and then rolled over three times on County Line Road at 4:15 a.m. Sunday.

Purse stolen

Wendi Thompson of Connellsville told state police that her purse was stolen while she was in a business on Route 119 between 11:30 p.m. and midnight Tuesday, police said.

Boy charged

State police said a 16-year-old West Leisenring boy was charged with simple assault after he allegedly attacked his mother at a home on First Street at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Rifle stolen

Christopher Sekers of Connellsville told state police that a 30.06 rifle and a video game were stolen from his home on Miles Road between 10 p.m. Nov. 17 and 2 p.m. Nov. 20, police said.

Man charged

Anthony Lyngvar of Dawson was charged with simple assault after he allegedly struck Amy Lilley, also of Dawson, with a beer can during a fight at a home in Dawson at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Daniel Huffine of Dawson told state police that a .308 Winchester rifle was stolen from his pickup truck while parked outside his residence in Dawson between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

State police said vandals threw a rock through the front window of the Grindstone Foodland at 1 a.m. Thursday.

Ornament stolen

State police said a Christmas ornament owned by Patrick Campbell of Smock was stolen from his residence on First Street between 11 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.
