Ethel V. Haines Firestone
Ethel V. Haines Firestone, 79, of Big Six, Smithfield, Pa., died Wednesday, November 29, 2006, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born January 7, 1927, in Jimtown, Fairchance, Pa., daughter of the late Ed Haines and Helen Hickle Haines.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Howard M. Firestone in August 1985, her son, Harold M. Firestone in 1967 and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Ethel Beeson and husband, Charles of Smithfield, Pa.; and her son, Howard Firestone of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; four grandchildren; two sisters: Virgie Haines of Uniontown, Pa., and Arlene Swaney of Fairchance, Pa.; four brothers: John Haines of Smithfield, Pa., Floyd Haines of Smithfield, Pa., Arnold Haines of Fairchance, Pa., and Gene Haines of Akron, Ohio.
The Family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2006, with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating in Fairchance Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
