Betty Jane Baden Conoline, age 83, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2006, in her home with her husband and nurse’s aide by her side. She was born on September 7, 1923, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Charles Baden and Mary Kermes Baden.

Betty graduated from the former South Union High School, class of 1943.

After graduating, she was Assistant Manager for the now former F. W. Woolworth Company.

Betty modeled clothes for both Metzler’s and Kaufman’s.

She managed Freeman’s Optical in Uniontown for 31 years.

Mrs. Conoline was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Emma Beeson, Helen Pensock, Evelyn Fullem and Irene Garcher, and a brother, Charles Baden Jr.

Betty is survived by her husband of 61 years, Silvio Conoline; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, December 4, 2006, until 9 a.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with the Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F., as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
