North Union Twp. Information sought
State police in Uniontown are seeking information on the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the rear parking lot of the Shining Stone Bar.
Police said a large, black, flatbed-style truck, possibly undamaged from the crash, struck a parked Buick LeSabre belonging to Edith Brennsteiner. The vehicle then backed up, struck the foundation of a garage and then fled south on Route 51, police said.
Brennsteiner’s vehicle and the garage sustained minor damage in the crash, noted police. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

Counterfeit bill passed
The Dairy Mart on Dixon Boulevard reported to state police that a counterfeit $5 bill was passed during business hours Wednesday.

Garbage dumped
Donald Lee Swaney reported to state police in Uniontown that someone dumped garbage on his Miller Farm Road property on Oct. 23.
Springhill Twp.
DUI arrest
An 18-year-old Smithfield man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after the 2000 Isuzu Rodeo he operated struck a Morgantown Road residence at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, state police said. No injuries were reported in the incident, police noted.
Wharton Twp.
Assault reported
State police arrested a 38-year-old Chalk Hill woman and a 46-year-old Ohiopyle man for harassment and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute at an Ohiopyle residence at 8 p.m. Thursday. The man also was arrested for simple assault, said police.
