Runaway sought

State police said Travis Lee Hall, 15, of Dunbar Township left his house on Nov. 26 and has not returned. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

North Union Twp.

Window smashed

Martin Andrew Lengvarsky Jr. of Vanderbilt told state police that sometime between 5 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday someone smashed the front windshield of his truck with a large rock.

Splitter stolen

Vickie Anderson told state police that a log splitter was stolen from her Bute Road home sometime during the night of Nov. 25.

Ornament stolen

Carrie Marie Kovack of Vanderbilt told state police that someone stole an inflatable lawn ornament from her Main Street home Friday night.

Connellsville Twp.

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Jeffery Teets of Connellsville and Maria D’Auria of Connellsville were in the left turning lane of Route 119 at the intersection with East Crawford Avenue on Thursday at 11:37 a.m. when the vehicles collided. Both drivers were taken by EMS to Highlands Hospital with injuries.

Bomb threat investigated

State police took into custody a 15-year-old boy in connection with a bomb threat at Albert Gallatin Area Senior High School on Friday. He was placed with Fayette County Juveline Probation Office. Police said a note left in the boys’ bathroom at the school around 11:30 a.m. claimed there was a bomb in the school that could go off at anytime. No bomb was found and the school was not evacuated, police said.

Man charged

State police charged Robert J. Provance, 24, of New Salem with public drunkenness at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Uniontown

Employee removed

State police escorted a former Denny’s Restaurant employee from the restaurant located along Route 40 at approximately 3:15 p.m. Saturday after the Uniontown man refused to leave. Police said charges are to be filed.

Packages stolen

State police said someone stole several UPS packages containing a video game system and games from the porch of a residence on Christmas Street on Nov. 23.

State police said someone broke into a Pershing Terrace residence, damaging the front door and a flower vase, Friday morning.

Man arrested

State police reported an arrest of Jared Lee Harper, 20, of Mount Pleasant at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 29 for driving under the influence.

Item stolen

Dolores Sabarese of Uniontown told state police someone stole a furnace heat exchanger from her property some time between Nov. 19 and 23.

Man robbed

Larry Garletts told city police that a black male robbed him at gunpoint while he walked from his car to the West Fayette Street Foodland on Friday at 2:11 p.m. Garletts was knocked unconscious during the incident and $105 was taken from his pants pocket, said police.

Cars collide

City police said vehicles driven by Howard Hartz and Nicole Semens collided on South Street on Friday around 8 p.m. Semens was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment of a leg injury, police said.

Investigations continue

Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:

– A Nov. 28 theft of a tile saw from a residence located in the 100 block of Porter Avenue.

– A Nov. 28 criminal mischief when paintballs were shot at the Connellsville Area Senior High School.

– A Nov. 26 theft of an inflatable Snoopy ornament from a residence located in the 1000 block of Race Street.

– A Nov. 25 burglary of a gumball machine from a business located in the 100 block of West Apple Street.

– A Nov. 24 theft of two frog lawn ornaments from a North Manor residence.

– A Nov. 24 burglary of Tri-Star Motors when the building was entered and the interior damaged.

– A Nov. 24 theft of a Polaris Sportsman 400 4×4 ATV from a residence located in the 100 block of Watt Street.

– A Nov. 23 theft of a prescription from a residence located in the 100 block of South Cottage Avenue.

– A Nov. 23 theft of a lighted metal reindeer from a residence located in the 200 block of North 6th Street.

– A Nov. 23 criminal mischief when someone shot paintballs at a residence located in the 500 block of East Patterson Avenue.

– A Nov. 22 theft of a purse from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 700 block of McCormick Avenue.

– A Nov. 18 criminal mischief when a piece of concrete was thrown through a window of a residence located in the 1400 block of West Crawford Avenue.

– A Nov. 18 theft of a Pennsylvania registration plate number FJN6050 from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of South 4th Street.

Charges filed

Police have filed charges against the following individuals in these unrelated incidents:

– Richard L. Kuzma, 26, of Connellsville with harassment after he allegedly made multiple harassing telephone calls Nov. 27 to the South Pittsburgh Street residence of an unidentified female. Kuzma was also charged with public drunkenness and criminal mischief in connection with a Nov. 22 incident when he was allegedly found intoxicated after breaking the glass from a storm door at a residence located in the 1300 block of South Pittsburgh Street.

– Walter W. Porterfield Sr., 53, of Connellsville with assault after he allegedly assaulted an unidentified male during a Nov. 27 incident in the 100 block of North 8th Street.

– Anthony E. Reed Sr., 43, of Smock with harassment after he allegedly shoved an unidentified female during a Nov. 26 incident in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street.

– James L. Huffine Sr., 46, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found to be intoxicated and screaming obscenities during a Nov. 2 incident in the 100 block of North Cottage Avenue.

– Bernard E. Labuda, 44, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated and asleep in a stairwell Nov. 24 in the 800 block of West Crawford Avenue.

– Adam McCloy, 22, of Leisenring with harassment after he allegedly struck an unidentified female Nov. 22 at a Memorial Boulevard restaurant.

– A 17-year-old juvenile of Connellsville with harassment after he allegedly tried to strike an unidentified male during a Nov. 21 incident in the 400 block of Penn Street. A second 17-year-old male, also of Connellsville, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly tried to interfere with the initial incident.

– Kayla R. Palmer, 19, of Dawson, with retail theft after she allegedly removed items totaling $32.50 from the Dollar General Store and items totaling $53.58 from the Family Dollar Store without paying on Nov. 20.
