Melvin N. Moten
Melvin N. Moten, of Shadyside, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Beloved husband of Irvin C. Moten; father of Natalie R. Moten of Anchorage, Ark., Melvin N., Jr. of Pittsburgh and Nancy R. Moten of Detroit, Mich.; brother of Savannah Cowan and Delilah Lucas both of Pittsburgh; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.
Mel retired from Point Park University after 40 years of service.
Friends will be received in the MCCABE BROTHERS, INC., FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Mel’s name be made to the Point Park University, the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
