Shot fired

Southwest Regional Police said a person on an all-terrain vehicle discharged a firearm near the CSX railroad tracks at 12:40 p.m. Nov. 28. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Vehicle damaged

State police said a vehicle driven by Kimberly Rhodes, 41, of Smithfield was damaged by a large rock that was thrown at the vehicle while Rhodes was traveling south on Route 43 near Big Six Road between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Nov. 28.

In a related incident, police said Arthur McGee, 42, of Smithfield told police someone threw a large piece of asphalt at his Route 119 residence near Big Six Road.

Woman arrested

Jennifer Vonfradenburgh, 28, of Uniontown was arrested for simple assault and domestic violence and committed to Fayette County Prison on a $5,000 percentage bond after being involved in an altercation with Warner Vonfradenburgh, 29, of Uniontown at the couple’s Reppert Boulevard residence, state police said.

Police said Warner Vonfradenburgh sustained minor injuries to the head and face.

Windshield cracked

Marion Shearer of Uniontown told state police the windshield of her vehicle was cracked while parked along Shoaf Road at 5 p.m. Nov. 27.

Gasoline stolen

State police said $20.03 worth of gasoline was stolen from the Exxon service station on Pittsburgh Street at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday.

Man arrested

Kendric Brown, 18, of Uniontown was arrested for receiving stolen property after it was found the all-terrain vehicle he was operating at the intersection of Bailey Avenue and North Gallatin Avenue at 11:55 a.m. Nov. 22 had been reported stolen, state police said.

Police said Brown was arraigned and placed in Fayette County Prison on a $10,000 straight cash bond.

Carmichaels

Two injured

State police said Russell Pratt, 35, and Virginia Pratt, 33, both of Jefferson, were injured when vehicles driven by Russell Pratt and Joseph Liston, 24, of Nemacolin crashed at the intersection of Route 88 and Route 21 at 6 p.m. Nov. 30.

Police said four passengers in Pratt’s vehicle were not injured.

Man injured

Glenn Parker, 53, of Fairmont, W.Va., sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Route 2009 at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, state police said, noting that Parker’s vehicle rolled several times. Parker was transported by ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., police said.

Vehicles crash

State police said Edwin Smith of Aiea, Hawaii, sustained minor injuries when vehicles driven by Joseph Kino of Richeyville and Jonathan Lorence of Mather crashed on a legislative route near Center Loop Road at 1:06 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said Smith was a passenger in Kino’s vehicle.

Woman arrested

Tana Deklevar, 19, of Jeannette was arrested for driving under the influence after being involved in a one-vehicle accident on Mill Run Road at 12:40 a.m. Nov. 25.

Pallets stolen

State police said three wooden pallets were stolen from the loading dock area behind the Uniontown Wal-Mart around 6:53 p.m. Nov. 27.

Man arrested

State police said 25-year-old Shawn Thomas Bate was taken into custody at Sully’s Motel at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Bate had been wanted by police.

Items stolen

Michael Spolan, 32, of Hopwood told state police that his Hopwood-Coolspring Road residence was entered sometime Monday and that numerous items were stolen from the home, according to the police report.

Springhill Twp.

Woman shoved

Selena Seaward, 27, of Smithfield told state police a 28-year-old Smithfield man shoved her during a confrontation at a Mark Drive residence at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, police reported.

Redstone Twp.

Wall damaged

State police said the sidewall of the Pennsylvania American Water pump station was damaged between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 8:10 a.m. Thursday.

Report released

Borough police reported officers made 14 arrests in November and wrote 24 traffic citations. Police responded to 171 requests for service, including six thefts, three burglaries, one drug offense and 13 drug-related calls. Police reported $18,220 worth of property was reported lost or stolen during the month and that $5,450 worth of property was recovered.
