Joseph R. Garsteck Sr., 84, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., died Wednesday, December 6, 2006. He is survived by daughter, Carrol A. Garsteck of Mount Pleasant; sons, Joseph R., Gregory E. and Bruce A. Garsteck all of Mount Pleasant, Pa., and Mark A. Garsteck of Calument; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Fran Neiderhiser.

Friends will be received at the Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Service Inc., 730 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant today from 2 to 9 p.m. and until 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
