Carol Kobus Foster, R.N.
Carol L. Kobus Foster, R.N., age 62, of Connellsville, Pa., died Thursday, December 7, 2006, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born May 21, 1944, in New Kensington, Pa., the daughter of Chester Kobus and Anna Mae Woncheck Kobus.
Carol graduated from Charleroi High School and the Montefiore Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was a Registered Nurse who worked for many years in the Coronary Care Unit at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Uniontown, Pa.
Carol was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her parents and her sister, Jackie Kobus Sigler.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Foster and her friend, Jeff Sowers, of Monongahela, Pa.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa.
Additional viewing will take place on Tuesday, December 12, in the CHURCH OF CHRIST, 70 Roosevelt Drive, Uniontown, Pa., from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m.
