Uniontown Teens fight
A Uniontown Area High School employee called city police at 7:35 a.m. on Dec. 8 to report two students fighting outside the school on Wilson Avenue. A juvenile male was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, police said.

Tammy O’Malley told city police that sometime during the night of Dec. 7 someone threw a brick through her car window. Her license plate was also removed, police said.

State police said someone drove away from the All Star Express on West George Street in Carmichaels without paying for $76.20 in diesel fuel on Dec. 9 around 11:30 a.m. Another customer drove off on Dec. 6 around 7:30 p.m. without paying for $25.01 in gas.

Mark Charles Faux, 48, of Waynesburg was arrested by state police for DUI after a traffic stop on South Morris Street in Waynesburg on Dec. 9 at 12:15 a.m.

Someone removed a red 1990 Honda Accord from the parking lot of Jack’s Auto in Perry Township, state police said. Anyone with information should call state police at 724-627-6151.

Someone pumped $40.02 in gas from the 7-Eleven gas station on High Street in Waynesburg and drove off without paying on Dec. 8 around 8 p.m., state police said.

State police said someone threw an empty beer bottle through the rear window of the car owned by Gerrod Nicola, 22, of Adah between 11:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 4.

Car hits deer
Christian Sheetz of Irwin escaped injury at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday when his car was traveling east on Route 40 and it struck a deer near West Brownsville, Washington County, state police said.

Fire investigated
State police are continuing to investigate a fire that occurred at 5:59 a.m. Nov. 18 at the home of James Hawkins, located along Meadowbrook Road in Morgan Township, Greene County. Police said the fire caused an estimated $140,000 in damage to the home. Based on the crime scene investigation and other information gathered, police believe the fire originated in the northeast corner of the structure, but the cause could not be determined because of the partial collapse of the structure and heavy fire damage sustained.

Sandra Hager, 51, of Hiller told state police that someone threw a rock through a window of her Honda CRX and stole a stereo equalizer while it was parked in front of her Luzerne Township home between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Man injured
Frank Bartolomucci of Newell was injured at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday when he was traveling west on Newell Road in his vehicle, which traveled across the eastbound lane and struck a tree, state police said. Police said Bartolomucci was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.

Criminal trespass
State police charged Joseph Andrew Brown, 37, of Brownsville with criminal trespass at 9:19 p.m. Thursday after he entered South Hills Terrace and was not permitted on the property. The charges against Brown were filed before District Magistrate Michael Defino.

Vehicle stolen
Shawn Foster, 26, of LaBelle told state police that someone stole his 1994 Jeep Cherokee at 8:40 p.m. Thursday while it was parked on Allison Avenue in Redstone Township. Police said Foster left his vehicle running and the doors unlocked. The vehicle was later recovered on Friday in the Redstone Township area.

Ernest Quarzo of 163 Brashear St., Brownsville, told state police that burglars entered through his basement window and stole copper pipe from his home sometime between Nov. 20 and Dec. 7.

Items stolen
Gary Colvin Smith, 50, of New Salem told state police that thieves stole a ladder stand, two hang-on stands and a trail camera from a wooded area on his property, located at 218 Bunker Hill Road, Redstone Township, between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Two-vehicle accident
State police are investigating an accident that occurred at 12:42 p.m. Friday when vehicles driven by Harry Lang of Coal Center and Joan Rosul of Perryopolis collided at the intersection of Route 88 and state route 8042 in West Brownsville, Washington.
