Albert William “Bill” Porter, age 87, of Mulberry Street, Scottdale, Pa., retired tool and die maker with 38 years service from the now former Anchor Hocking Cap Division in South Connellsville, Pa., passed away at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. He is survived by his wife whom he married 65 years ago (June 28, 1941) in Cumberland, Maryland, Ivalean Finley Porter; children: Judith Ann Porter Stoner and husband Ronald Stoner and Clarence Lester Porter Sr. and wife Cheryl all of Scottdale; grandchildren: Stacey Lynn Couchenour and husband Jay of Herminie, Pa., William Douglas Stoner of Scottdale, Clarence Lester Porter II and wife Deanna of Holtwood, Pa., and Jayson Porter and wife Krystine of Narvon, Pa.; one great-granddaughter; four great-grandsons; nieces and nephews. “Bill” was the last remaining member of his immediate family.

Family and friends will be received today from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, December 13, until 11 a.m. at the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, Pa.
