Helen N. Whipkey Komara Cupp
Helen N. Whipkey Komara Cupp, age 89, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Midland, Pa., died Friday, December 8, 2006, in her home. Born July 19, 1917, in Connellsville, Pa., she was the daughter of Jess Whipkey and Edith Detwiler Whipkey.
Helen had been a member of the United Methodist Church, Midland.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rudolph A. Komara in 1993, a sister, Betty Robins, brothers, Robert Whipkey and Dale Whipkey, and her daughter-in-law, Cathy Komara.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Cupp; sons and daughter-in-law: Charles F. Komara, Midland, Pa., and Robert E. and Amelia Komara, Brighton Township, Pa.; grandchildren: Jess, Brian, Lisa, Daniel and Jeffrey; and great-grandchildren: Kody, Chase, Sheyenne, Kendall and Kalee; and sisters: Ruth Herbert, JoAnn Soltice and Janice Dunaway all of Connellsville, Pa.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the D. L. WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 848 Midland Avenue, Midland, PA 15059 (724-643-1300) where a Service will be conducted Tuesday, December 12, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Rico J. Vespa, her former Pastor, will officiate.
Entombment will follow in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Rochester, Pa.
