Charles W. (Junior) Spaugy, 78, formerly of New Salem, Pa., passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006, in Eicher’s Family Home, Normalville, Pa. He was born May 13, 1928, in Leisenring Number Three, the son of the late William H. and Catherine Seighman Spaugy.

Junior was a member of New Salem Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his sisters, Gertrude McArdle, Lucille Carroll and her husband Paul and Aileen Clay and her husband Harold all of New Salem and many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services and committal service for Junior’s family will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., with the Rev. Norma P. Murphy officiating.

Private interment will follow in Pennsville Independent Cemetery, Pennsville.

A Memorial Service in Junior’s memory will be scheduled at a later date to be announced.
