Lillian White
Lillian White, 89, of Clarksville, Pa., died Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. She was born April 29, 1917, in Mt. Braddock, Pa., a daughter of the late Lester and Carrie McNatt Swaney.
Lillian was a Methodist by faith.
She is survived by daughters: Carrie Ann Davis and husband, Richard of Iowa, Nancy Goodroe and husband, Hennan of Georgia, Judi Gabehart and husband, Herald of Kentucky; sons: Donald White, Jr. and wife, Judy of Fredericktown and Mark White and wife, Virginia of Washington, PA.; brother, Edward Swaney of Cleveland; sisters: Gertie Porter of Denbo and Catherine DeBord of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Bettigar and Donald (Jum) White, Sr., and brothers, Tom, Ralph, Henry, Bob, Albert, Frank and Charles Swaney.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday in the FRANK BURKUS FUNERAL HOME, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
