Waynesburg man arraigned on sex charges
HOUSTON, Pa. – A Waynesburg man was arraigned in Washington County on Tuesday on numerous charges stemming from allegations that he sexually assaulted two teenage girls. Justin Larry Bedilion, 24, was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller in North Strabane Township on two felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, a felony count of statutory sexual assault, four misdemeanor counts of indecent assault, 11 misdemeanor counts of selling or furnishing alcohol to minors and 13 misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors from six separate incidents. North Strabane and Canonsburg police departments filed the charges.
According to the criminal complaints, Bedilion allegedly engaged in sex with a 13-year old girl in mid- to late August in his car that was parked at a lot in North Strabane. He also allegedly provided liquor to the 13-year-old, as well as to a 15-year-old girl who also was in the car. Police said both girls told Bedilion “several times” that the girl was only 13, according to the criminal complaint.
He also is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl in February at her home in Canonsburg and providing alcohol to several juveniles, ages 15 to 18, on four separate occasions in July and August, police said.
Bedilion was freed on $25,000 unsecured bond for each of the cases involving involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims’ families.
His preliminary hearing for all charges, originally scheduled for Dec. 20, was continued until Jan. 24.
