Mildred B. Tweardy Masci
Mildred B. Tweardy Masci, 77 of Monessen, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, in the Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born June 3, 1929, in Charleroi, Pa., daughter of the late George and Barbara Tweardy.
She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda Masci O’Keefe and husband, Mark of Uniontown; two sons: Ed Masci Jr., and Mark D. Masci both of Monessen; grandson, Bryan O’Keefe of Fairfax, Va.; and granddaughter, Ashley O’Keefe of Uniontown both of whom she adored; brothers-in-law: Lawrence and wife, Rita Masci, and Adam Masci; sisters-in-law: Loretta DiBiaso and Virginia Marcozzi, numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Edmund A. Masci Sr., on November 11, 1993, brothers, George Jr., Michael, Emil, and John Tweardy, sisters, Anna Chan, Mary Tweardy, and Betty Tirpak, and nephew, The Reverend James Tweardy.
Friends will be received in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1209 Grand Boulevard, Monessen, Pa., a Golden Rule Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday.
A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., in the Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen.
Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Masci’s name may be made to the Mon Valley E.M.S. or the Monessen Public Library.
