Wanda Mae “Yumpy” Hagood
Wanda Mae “Yumpy” Hagood, 58, of Baldwin, Pa., passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2006, in the Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on September 13, 1948, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Elizabeth Parker Pollard and William H. Pollard.
Wanda graduated from Uniontown Senior High School class of 1967 and attended Duffs Business School, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was employed with Westinghouse for 23 years as a secretary.
Surviving are her husband, Alexander Hagood; her mother, Elizabeth Pollard; her father, William H. Pollard; one daughter, Stephanie Hagood; sister, Rose Hart; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, December 15, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Nathaniel Milton officiating.
Interment will be in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
