Batovsky-Kriss
Jeanne Ann Kriss of Vestaburg and John Robert Batovsky of Grindstone were married on Oct. 28 at the Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William E. Lawson heard the exchange of marriage vows.
Parents of the bride are Linda Kriss of Hiller and the late Harry Kriss. Parents of the bridegroom are Elizabeth Batovsky of Grindstone and the late Daniel Batovsky.
The bride wore a cream-colored A-line halter gown adorned with sequins and beading. A silk trimmed veil was accented with beading.
Ushers were Leonard Batovsky, Frank Batovsky, Tom Batovsky and Ed Batovsky.
A reception was held at Peter’s Torchlight Inn, Uniontown.
The bride graduated from Brownsville Area High School and Waynesburg College with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
She is a legal nurse consultant and is also employed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Brownsville Area High School and is a loss prevention detective.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev.
