Josephine Golembiewski Rozak, age 85, of Bunker Hill Road, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2006, in her residence. She was born April 18, 1921, in Republic, Pa., the daughter of Steven Golembiewski and Sadie Kozma Golembiewski.

Josephine was a member of The Church of The Madonna, Cardale, Pa., and The Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

She was a former employee of the Cabot-Keyser Rehabilitation Institute in Washington, D.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Rozak in 1981, sisters, Regina Mazur and Dorothy Fusinski, and brothers, Stephen Gallop and Walter Golembiewski.

Surviving are a daughter, Johanna Gaggiani and her husband, Fred, of Bunker Hill Road; a grandson, Fred Gaggiani and his wife, Jennifer, of Bunker Hill Road; great-granddaughters: Julia Gaggiani and Sophia Gaggiani; and sisters: Margaret Kasper and husband, Gerald, of Florissant, Missouri, Gertrude Ulicne and husband, John, of Anderson, Indiana, and Rosella Stefanowski of West Branch, Michigan. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., 19 LEGION STREET, REPUBLIC, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, December 18, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Church of The Madonna, Cardale, with the Rev. Father Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant.

Interment will be in Saint Mary Cemetery, Cardale, Pa.

Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3:30 p.m.
