State police trooper Chad Scrip talks with an eyewitness while investigating a one-vehicle car accident that sent one person to the hospital. A spokesman for Fayette County 911 said the driver was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following the crash that occurred on Route 119 in Connellsville Township at 11:46 a.m. Tuesday. In addition to state police, Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department and Fayette EMS also responded to the accident, according to information from Fayette County 911.
